Hammerstones Solicitors is delighted to support the Kildare Cobras Mixed Development Tag Rugby team, whose hard work and determination were rewarded with a memorable performance at the 2026 National Tag Championships.
Held at Portlaoise Rugby Club on Saturday, 27 June, the championships brought together the best representative tag rugby teams from across Ireland for a full day of elite competition. Each team played four 40 minute matches in a highly competitive tournament.
The Kildare Cobras enjoyed a landmark day, winning their final and securing an overall fifth-place finish. The victory marked the county’s first final win at the National Championships in at least the past decade, representing a significant milestone for tag rugby in Kildare.
The Mixed Development division provides players with the opportunity to compete at representative level while continuing to develop their skills against some of the strongest teams in the country.
